Really? “The Coastal Waters of Southeast Alaska and British Columbia” is the best anyone has come up with? Both the Beaufort Sea and the Amundsen Sea are easily less enclosed than this, and they have proper names. Hell, the Scotia Sea barely has boundaries! It has corners made by islands, but no real edges. Basically someone drew a semi-circle (poorly) on a map and decided it should have a name. Probably someone named Scot.
Attention International Maritime Organisation: I suggest we start calling “The Coastal Waters of Southeast Alaska and British Columbia” the Cascadia Sea.
